The Web Guild Website Awards 2027: terms of entry
1.Entering
It's free to enter, and it's free to win. Any live, publicly visible website can be entered, from a one-person business to a large organisation. You can enter your own website, a website you built for a client, or nominate a website you admire. Entries are open to websites for businesses anywhere in the world, and close at midnight on 31 January 2027.
2.Judging
In the final round, no judge will score a website they designed, built or worked on. Judges look at each website as it is at the time of judging, and their decisions are final. We'll announce the winners on 15 April 2027.
3.If you nominate someone
We may get in touch with the owner of a website you've nominated and tell them you nominated them, including your name.
4.Publicity
If your website is longlisted, shortlisted or wins, we may share the business name, a link to the website, screenshots of it, and the name of the designer or developer who built it, on our website, newsletter and social media. If you'd like anything taken down, just ask and we'll remove it.
5.Trophies
Every winner gets a free digital certificate and a badge they can use on their website. If you'd also like a physical trophy or printed certificate, you will be able to buy one at cost price, which means you pay what we pay the supplier, plus postage. Buying one is entirely optional and makes no difference to anything else. We don't make any money from trophies; we just know how fun it is to receive one!
6.Your details
We use the details in your entry to run the awards and contact you about your entry, and potential future awards. We'll only send you our newsletter if you ticked the box to say yes, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You can read how we look after your data in our privacy policy.
7.The small print
We may remove any entry that's offensive, misleading or breaks the law. We may change dates or other details of the awards if we need to, and we'll say so on this page if we do.
